Wow what a year it’s been. I still can’t believe all the incredibly, wonderful things I’ve gotten to do and the places I’ve gotten to see. It hadn’t all been smooth, but it has been exciting. Actually educational would be a better word as I continued to learn and grow. The next project/ phase it’s moving to Toronto. So far my block is rockin’ a great patio brew pub, a rockabilly bar, a 60’s music club and a dub, dirty bass club are all spitting distance from my front door.

To be honest and its only in hindsight that I realized why I went to Amsterdam; I went to see a man that I had met in Maimi and had been holding out for. Well, at least holding out for my memory of him. So 6 months and a few dates later, I meet up with him only to have him be in a relationship with someone else. Which was fine, except for the fact that I had planned to spend my time with him and now I found myself in a significantly smaller city than I had imagined, with lots of time, tons of jet lag and a strong desire to go home.
